# How to get your Bright Data credentials

> Get your Bright Data credentials in 3 steps: register an account, create a proxy or API in the Control Panel, copy username, password and API key.

  <Step title="Create a New Zone">
    1. Go to the **Proxy & Scraping** section.
    2. Click **Add** to create a new Zone.

  <Step title="Set Proxy and Location Preferences">
    1. Choose your proxy type (for example, select **ISP Proxies**).

    2. Enter a name for your Zone and set the IP type to **Dedicated**.

    3. Define the number of IPs, then select the country and city for your preferred IP location.

  <Step title="Complete Zone Setup and Retrieve Credentials">
    1. Click **Add** to finalize your Zone creation.

    2. Open your Zone details to view the proxy credentials you’ll need:

       | Credential   | Value                  |
       | :----------- | :--------------------- |
       | **Host**     | `brd.superproxy.io`    |
       | **Port**     | `33335`                |
       | **Username** | `<your-zone-username>` |
       | **Password** | `<your-zone-password>` |

    <Tip>
      Please replace `<your-zone-username>` and `<your-zone-password>` with the actual credentials provided in your Zone details. Please refer to the image below for guidance.
