Getting Started with BrightData’s Custom Scrapers

You have two options:

• Custom Scraper (Customer-Led): You define the scraping project and control the process.
• Fully Managed Solution (Bright Data-Led): We handle everything for you, from design to deployment.

• For Custom Scraper:
  • Provide the following information:
    • Target URLs
    • Desired data schema (what fields you want to extract) - Make sure the schema meets your requirements; you can edit/remove/add fields as you want
    • Scope of the project (e.g., frequency, volume, complexity)

• Once your request is done, schedule a meeting with a Bright Data representative.
• During the meeting, we’ll review your request, validate the scope, and finalize the schema.
• Once approved, the project moves into development.

You’ll be updated as we build your scraper according to the approved specifications.

Once the scraper is live, it will be presented on the control panel under the “My scrapers” table, ready for you to start using it. Our support team is here to help.
